Pencil by 53.
After doing only three small drawings (Eyes, Burning Match and My Happy Place) my first tip is already worn out !!! On the photo you only see one side, but it’s worn out on both sides !!!
The problem is that you have to press harder to prevent Pencil from starting unwanted blurring. Yes you can disable blur, but when you are drawing you don’t want to constantly set blur on and off (because you have to leave your drawing and go to the 53 logo to do this).
I think it would be more convenient if fiftythreenyc would move the option of what your finger should do (blur, draw or do nothing) to the tool bar, so that you can switch without leaving your drawing screen.
I’m back on my Bamboo stylus with the soft nib on it, it is more sensitive. I also use a Bamboo stylus with a firm nib on it for filling larger areas. I’ll only be using Pencil for the blur option now.
My experience with the Bamboo nibs.
Soft nibs: about 10-15 drawings, really sensitive.
Hard nibs: Don’t know how many drawing you could do this these, I use them only for filling larger areas (still using my first firm nib). These nibs are harder so you also have to press harder but they are very strong.
Besides the fact that my first tip of my Pencil is already worn out, I still think it’s a nice stylus. I guess it’s also getting used to a different stylus. Luckily I have three spare tips.
I hope Paper can do something with all problem with Pencil.
